The Acoustic system is used where special sound absorption or sound insulation is required such as machine rooms or control rooms. With the perforated panel steel facing with 30% open area on one side, a 100mm acoustic panel can provide 50% to 70% sound absorption across the frequency range.
The Hygiene system, where the panels are faced with either Foodsafe linings or 316 Stainless Steel is used in food processing, packaging and storage areas. Hygiene panels provide an easy to clean, smooth and strong finished surface for walls and ceilings. In addition to this the rock wool core of the panels has been shown to be compatible for food industry applications as it does not support microbiological growth.
The main industrial applications for Rokcore are for walls and ceilings for food processing, food preparation such as large commercial kitchens, warehouses, distribution depots and noise control with machinery. |
